This unusual lehenga choli is made for dancing and drama. The waist-length, long-sleeve blouse is embellished with intricate hand zardosi, set crystal, and bead work, and is laced in back for perfect fit. The pencil-slim skirt has long side slits and an off-center front pleat, and is wrapped over trouser-style salwar to combine modesty with freedom of movement. The skirt has back darts, an off-center front pleat, and moti embroidery on the lower part of the skirt. Both the blouse and skirt are lined. This elegant outfit is stitched of taupe artificial satin crepe.

Condition

The fabric is in good condition with no stains or holes. The embroidery appears to be basically intact; there may be small bits missing but you would have to look carefully to find them. This item is in the clearance bin because this dry-clean-only outfit has been washed, and the cotton lining is now slightly shorter than the crepe fabric along the blouse length and and sleeve length. This means the blouse does not hang quite as smoothly as it should at the hems, but otherwise looks great.
